Health and Safety for Tree Surgery

Parklawn Tree Services operates a rigorous health and safety policy, carrying out industry standard risk assessments for every job. We employ one full-time Health and Safety Officer to ensure compliance and best practice in relation to the health and safety of all staff and the general public. Our health and safety policy, method statement, risk assessment, equal opportunities and environmental policies are available for inspection and submitted with any commercial tender. We adhere to PUWER/LOLER and COSHH plus other industry practices.

Professional Qualifications

We have several teams comprising of highly talented tree surgeons/arborists carrying out BS (British Safety) Standard 3998 pruning as standard to skilled machinery operators, dedicated to live-line timber cutting, grass cutting, hedge planting and plain hard workers. Enda Stephens, Director, holds a National Diploma in Arboriculture, John Nolan holds a National Diploma in Arboriculture and Forestry. Staff members are NPTC trained and qualified to a minimum of CS40. All staff are trained in risk assessment. We are continuously training our staff members to the highest professional levels.
